I've really loved the Belif Aqua Bomb, Garnier SkinActive gel moisturizer, and Etude House Moistfull Collagen Water Jelly Cream in the past. They just provide direct quenching hydration my skin drinks up, and I love the bouncy supple finish. I am a sucker for gel creams - I have dry skin so this might seem paradoxical, but they really are the best for my skin in the summer time since I layer an additional sunscreen moisturizer on top anyway. It is fragranced as most of their products are, and I know that's technically bad? But I've honestly never had an issue, my skin reacts to everything but not to their products, and the particular scent on the Jeju Cherry Blossom products I actually find quite lovely. I adore this cream! In general I really like Innisfree more than I feel others do? I dunno, but they haven't done me wrong yet. Versed's Dew Point Gel Cream looked promising, it's another green tea/aloe based one I believe, but it was sold out everywhere. I decided it wasn't a deal breaker though since at least Urban Outfitters had it, and if they ever do discontinue it if/after I've fallen in love, I order a lot of Asian makeup brands anyway.Īlso considered Hado Lobo (both the American Tokyo version and the Japanese Perfect Gel), and my preference unfortunately leans towards the Japanese version not readily available here. This appears to be one of their products they don't sell in the US much, though it's abundant on Asian beauty websites. I also just bought COSRX Hydrium Green Tea Aqua Soothing Gel, albeit a little hesitantly. Def gotta patch test this one first for a while. I imagine I still had vitamin C serum on it from earlier that day, and it didn't react well with the niacinamide. What did get on one of my hands turned it a bit red. I'm not sure how I feel about the fragrance yet, but like I said I got a heavy dose initially. Actually, I lightly poked the papery top it had, and it more or less exploded. I just received mine today! And I also spilled it, LOL. Maybe just a reference to its moisturizing properties being similar to a cream.ĭry skin dealing with ingrown hairs due to African ancestry. Its actually just a jelly consistency, no cream. Exp date wasn’t until next year and I bought it 3 months ago but used all of it in August. + I’m pretty clumsy and dropped this product once with the top unscrewed all the way and not a lot spilled out. I didn’t break out from the fragrance or the formula so its an okay product. Would I buy again? Yes but it only last a month if you use both day and night as its only 1.69fl oz/50mL. Due to the jelly absorbing so well, I am now open to trying other jelly/gel products. The moisture lasted me around 4hrs without a “dried-out” feeling but after the 4hrs my face was a comfortable “dry”. Didn’t leave a film or heavy feeling on my face. As it is a jelly it absorbs well into the skin. I didn’t see a dewy glow in the day, because I always did a routine with SPF, but at night I see the glow. Layered on my face well with my other non-jelly products. Has a light fragrance of cherry blossoms but smells similar to baby oil/powder. Click here to exitĬame in a multicolored speckled gray box and the product has a similar top to box with a slighly transparent pink outer and and white inside that contains the clear jelly “cream”.
